The Izzet League

 

The Izzet League is a  blue/red Ravnican Guild that is in charge of the infrastructure of Ravnica.

 

The Izzet League is led by the dracogenius Niv-Mizzet, who is rumored to be the last dragon on Ravnica. He could easily seize control of Ravnica, but he says that he's too fickle and that it would be boring. Niv-Mizzet maintains control of his guild using a piece of magic that he implanted in his mind called the Firemind.

 

The Izzet Guildhall is Nivix, Aerie of the Firemind. It is a large structure comparable in height to New Prahv, the Azorius guildhall. The Izzet League are actually quite peaceful, although they are somewhat unusual.
