After the devastating events of Dissension, the guilds were in disarray. All of the guilds except the Rakdos, Golgari, and Gruul were virtually leaderless.
White Guilds
Azorius-Prahv was destroyed by the Boros warship Parhelion.
Selesnya-Most of the Selesnyans were lynched en masse by the Rakdos,Dimir, and Golgari. Vitu-Ghazi is in ruins.
Boros-The legion has been virtually been destroyed. Only a few battalions remain.
Orzhov-The Orzhov are in disarray. No one believes that they are a religion any more.
Black Guilds
Rakdos-Rakdos is in his longest sleep ever.
Golgari-Jarad has just seized power from his sister.
Dimir-Szadek is dead. Dimir ringleaders are rushing to seize power.
